Job Purpose

This position is responsible for the maintenance, management and safety of the equipment that supports the parts operations in the Mt. Laurel NJ Parts Center.

Key Accountabilities

  • Daily management and operation of the ASRS "Automated Storage and Retrieval System" and EMS Software.
  • Fleet Management of Material Handling Equipment including Maintenance, Training for Operator Certification and Safety.
  • Vendor Relations for repairs and maintenance to ASRS and Fleet Management.
  • Proactive safety, quality and preventive maintenance scheduling and inspections
  • Communication and updates to Management on a regular basis

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Candidate should possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or five (5) years related experience in the field.
  • 2 - 3 years in a job-related field
  • Fleet Management of Material Handling Equipment and Certification on Safety Training preferred but not required.
  • Candidate needs to be a self-motivator, able to easily work with others and should have experience in the following areas: PLC programming, Basic Electrical, Electronics, Wiring, Schematics, Conveyors, Photo Eyes, Windows software applications, Contract Negotiating Skills as it relates to vendor relations and budgeting expense and forecasting.
