The
Director of Environmental Health & Safety/Enterprise Business Continuity will report directly to the AVP of Environmental Health & Safety/Safety/Enterprise Business Continuity. This role is essential for ensuring the ongoing continuity of daily business operations while prioritizing safety initiatives throughout the organization.
The Director will provide leadership and oversight to the Environmental Health and Safety/Enterprise Business Continuity team, managing various projects that address the company's safety, risk, and business continuity needs. This position involves leading a business continuity team responsible for predicting, defining, and managing responses to potential disruptions, ensuring the availability of core services, critical technology, and communication systems. Strong organizational, technical, and leadership skills are essential, as the Director will collaborate with cross-functional partners to coordinate effective responses to major events. This role involves developing and managing corporate safety and health programs that align with the overall Safety and Risk strategy. The Director will provide technical support to ensure compliance with safety regulations and will lead efforts to standardize operational processes across Cox Communications. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional relationship management and strategic leadership skills to achieve both short- and long-term operational objectives and financial goals while maximizing profit potential and delivering exemplary service. This position requires a strategic and tactical thinker who is action-oriented, capable of envisioning and executing plans while proactively assessing options and their impacts. The Director should inspire others to take action and connect initiatives to relevant business objectives and outcomes. Additionally, the role demands a skilled, collaborative influencer with a proven track record of building effective relationships across various levels, functions, boundaries, and networks, both internal and external to the company. USD 117,300.00 - 195,500.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
