Corewell Health Medical Group West is seeking a highly motivated BE/BC Hyperbaric Medicine physician to join our collegial, well established, and respected group of physicians and APPs. Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan offers the only 24/7 emergent and critical care hyperbaric oxygen services in the state.

Select Opportunity Highlights:

  • All hyperbaric indications approved by the UHMS are treated using our monoplace and multiplace chambers

  • Outpatient Wound, Hyperbaric and Limb Preservation clinic with 11 rooms adjoined to our Level 1 hospital as well as an outreach clinic at one of our regional hospitals

  • Multidisciplinary Limb Preservation Board meets weekly

  • Resident and medical student teaching opportunities

  • Exciting research opportunities both in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

  • Outpatient 70% / Inpatient 30% - when in clinic seeing approx. 20 patients

  • Weeknight Call - 1 night per week / Weekend Call - 1:5 weekends

  • Prefer BE/BC Hyperbaric physician. Required to obtain additional Wound Certification if not done so already

  • Telemedicine consults for all regional hospitals, some nursing homes, and in-home virtual visits for patients

  • Would consider split position between Wound/HBO and Emergency Medicine

Qualifications

  • BE/BC Hyperbaric physician. Primary specialties include: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or surgical specialty

  • Fellowship-trained preferred, not mandatory

  • Wound Certification will be required (can be done after hire)
