Elwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services is seeking a passionate ACT Team Lead to champion our Assertive Community Treatment program in Raleigh, NC. This role offers the chance to lead a large, interdisciplinary team providing 24/7 crisis support and comprehensive care to Wake County residents with chronic mental illness and co-occurring addiction. You'll ensure fidelity to the ACT model while overseeing clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects, all while maintaining a reduced clinical caseload. The Role:
- Clinical Leadership: Lead the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, providing evidence-based therapies like PRISM, CBT, and MI for individual and group settings. Ensure adherence to the ACT model for comprehensive care of clients with serious mental illness.
- Quality & Supervision: Oversee all clinical program elements, including team-based care, crisis response, and communication. Conduct chart audits to maintain quality standards and manage risk through incident reporting. Provide clinical and administrative supervision to program staff, ensuring proper client service authorizations and staff development through training and mentorship.
- Program Management: Ensure program compliance with Medicaid, Wake County LME, CARF, and Elwyn guidelines. Develop and monitor a balanced annual budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for ACT referrals, assigning new cases, maintaining a waiting list, and conducting comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Data & Improvement: Utilize monthly scorecard data to drive programmatic improvements and participate in the annual strategic planning process. Analyze trends from incident reports and address findings with the quality improvement committee.
- Efficiency & Operations: Maintain open communication with program assistants to ensure quality charting standards and monitor staff productivity. Participate in agency fundraising activities, ensuring timely payroll submission and personnel record management.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field (Psychology, Social Work, etc.).
- Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LISW, LPC, LCMHC, LCMHCS)*.
- Substance Abuse credential (CADC or LCAS) preferred.
- 2+ years of leadership experience in the treatment of severe mental health issues (inpatient/community).
- Strong clinical skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership abilities.
*We will consider candidates with LCSW-A, LCMHC-A and on track to obtain full licensure within 30 days of hire.
