Design and develop OSS (Operations Support Systems) solutions for provisioning of wholesale and enterprise services on Intelligent Edge Network (IEN); interact with network planning, engineering and operations teams to understand provisioning processes for service fulfillment; conduct, lead and coordinate software development activities throughout the project, including key design decisions for the technology, structure and configuration of the system; provide technical expertise in terms of software usage, functionality, performance, aesthetics, resilience, reuse, comprehensibility, economic and technological tradeoffs; work with management to prioritize business goals and information needs; collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems; work with Quality Engineering and Production Support teams to get software tested in SIT/UAT and deployed in production; troubleshoot any software, IT systems issues/defects in test and production environments; document system problems and resolutions for future reference; write and maintain system documentation.

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, Information Systems Technologies, Information Assurance, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer/Developer, System Engineer, or in a related/similar position. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master's or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 3 years of experience in the above. Experience therein to include 3 years in software development using Java, Micro services development using Spring Boot and SOAP, E2E integration of complex heterogeneous systems in Cloud (including AWS, Kubernetes and on-premise configurations), Agile development process and DevOps tool chain (like Confluence, Jira, Stash, Jenkins, and SonarQube), Linux/Unix operation system, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, MySQL databases & PL-SQL scripting; 2 years with scripting technologies including Python, Shell, and Groovy; and 1 year in UI development using Angular, Node JS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
