What You Will Do:

As a Finance Manager within L'Oreal's Professional Products Division (PPD), you will play a crucial role in the financial planning, reporting, and analysis across all brands within the portfolio. This highly visible role centers on managing and optimizing media and digital investments, requiring strong collaboration with various internal teams and stakeholders. You will also lead a team member who is responsible for managing PPD's centralized digital budgets. The position will have a transversal focus overseeing Total A&P spend Redken, Pureology, Mizani and L'Oreal Technique, and will be a key partner to the brand controller and total business on multiple different projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Management & Analysis: Provide financial guidance and support to brand finance leads, identifying risks and opportunities through proactive budget management and regular business partner meetings. Lead discussions and alignment on Fuel Budgets across all PPD brands, encompassing media, brand engagement, DDX, and website costs. Manage total Brand A&P Consolidation for Redken, Pureology, Mizani & L'Oreal Technique and align with Brand controller on all A&P Investments.

Project Implementation & Ownership: Own and manage the successful implementation of multiple critical digital projects focused on optimizing divisional spending and strategic investment. This includes: BetIQ ROI analysis, influencer agency ROI spend optimization, and the creation and maintenance of media/digital dashboards. You will be responsible for presenting key findings and recommendations to management, influencing strategic decisions that impact the division's bottom line.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead a direct report responsible for managing the PPD centralized digital marketing (CDMO) budgets, fostering their professional growth and development through coaching, training, and performance feedback.

Reporting & Analysis: Provide comprehensive monthly reporting to business partners, ensuring accurate alignment of actuals with planned spend. Consolidate and analyze media and digital spending for all PPD brands, presenting recommendations to management. Maintain A&P budgets and trends in our reporting system, Compass. Develop ad-hoc analyses to support data-driven decision making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key business partner to PPD Brand Digital Teams, PPD Media & Brand Engagement Teams and Corporate CDMO. Ensure alignment with brand controllers on all A&P investments.

Financial Compliance: Ensure accurate expense classification according to L'Oreal Finance Norms. Track financial performance of strategic projects against the business plan.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in finance or accounting. Prior experience within media and/or digital investments preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated business acumen and leadership capabilities.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); expert-level Excel skills required. Experience with Power BI and data visualization dashboards a plus.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $98,400-$140,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
