Overview

L'Oreal Dermatological Beauty (LBD) is looking for a passionate, bright, and analytical candidate to join the Amazon commercial team responsible for the Amazon business in the U.S .

This person will be customer obsessed, passionate about retailer capabilities, leveraging data and customer insights to drive forward business priorities This role is responsible for strategic management and acceleration of a leading Skincare brand on Amazon. This role requires a general management mind-set to optimize across all areas of the Amazon flywheel. Through strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration, this individual will drive excellence across sales management, media/marketing, business analytics, supply chain.

This position reports to the VP, Amazon Sales.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and execution of Amazon business strategy on the brand in collaboration with key cross-functional partners in marketing, media, CX, operation to set and deliver on sales targets.
    • Own Amazon P&L ownership on the brand. Manage sales forecasts and investment plans, providing weekly/monthly/quarterly estimates on sales projections and plans.
    • Responsible for managing trade budget, drive cross-functional alignment on media spend and manage operational penalties reduction & optimization.
    • Work closely with supply chain, sales operations, demand planning teams to deliver & optimize the business.
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of customer strategic objectives, priorities, decision-making processes, & KPIs
  • Track ongoing customer performance and proactively manage gaps to forecasts as they arise.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the brands for anything related to the brands' Amazon business including marketing requests, supply chain, demand planning, activations and more.
  • Dive into the business performance and gain insights related to Amazon and eCommerce KPI's (sales, traffic, conversion, etc. ) Share out recommendations based on insights gained.
  • Manage the financial investments in the business, leading any promotional discounts and influencing any media/search investments.
  • Establish as Amazon SME. Build deep understanding of Amazon platform, category & competition to inform brand strategy on the platform.

What We Are Looking For:

5-10 years of digital, marketing or Amazon sales experience.

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce required. Beauty/Skincare experience a plus.
  • Must have strong project management and autonomy competency to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables.
  • Experience analyzing performance data and summarizing / communicating findings via reports and presentations.
  • Proactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial dynamic environment where new ideas are championed.
  • High proficiency in MS Office: Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Salary Range: 138,500 - 190,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
