A Day in the Life
Implement marketing plans for the U.S. market by working closely with VP, Marketing to execute and evaluate product launches and promotional marketing programs. Plan, develop and implement special events. Responsible for market sourcing for promotional plan ideas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 to 15 years experience in the cosmetics, skincare and/or fragrance industry
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently within a rigorous deadline schedule
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong presentation skills.
Responsibilities
1. Brand Development and Maintenance:
* Monitor product line needs - value analysis, phase-outs
* Evaluates all new brand launches and recommend feasibility for domestic market.
* Execute new brand launches
* Co-develop effective merchandising programs with our magazine partners geared at providing added value to our brands. Approve all co-op ads
* Work with creative to implement marketing direction on collateral
* Work closely with brand marketing to ensure promotional programs are in line with the brands objectives and strategies
2. Domestic Strategy:
* Coordinate with Global Marketing team to understand strategy and determine domestic applications
* Provide input on development for new brands
3. Promotional Programs:
* Develop promotional calendar for each season and monitor promotion throughout production and development process.
* Responsible for promotional planning for stores
* Work with sales department to develop strategic promotional plan.
* Interface with all support groups to ensure timely execution of all programs within budget.
* Initiate and prepare all marketing paperwork in a timely manner.
* Work with Key Account Directors to ensure promotional programs meet the specific needs of each retailer
4. Brand Information and Training:
* Prepare and conduct presentations for regional and national sales meetings.
* Prepare all brand information for sales department and retailers including sell sheet books and calendars.
* Communicate with the sales department to ensure prompt, accurate information disseminates to the Field Force.
5. Retail Marketing:
* Prepare and conduct presentations for retailer meetings.
* Travel domestically for regular field tours.
* Create and implement special events programs.
What We Offer
Salary Range: $117,400.00 - $167,300.00 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level Competitive Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Pension Plan)
