Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Nordic Center Attendant DIVISION: Nordic Center REPORTS TO: Nordic Center Manager LOCATION: Nordic Center CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/ Part-Time / Seasonal/ Hourly POSITION: The Nordic Center Attendant will be responsible for guiding snowshoe tours, providing information to guests, and directing them to appropriate base areas, as well as assisting guests with rental equipment. Nordic Center Attendant will be encouraged to learn basic skills of Nordic skiing. This position must have excellent customer service skills, basic math skills, and be willing to work weekends and holidays during the winter season. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to handle cash and maintain accurate transactions Pass and retail sales responsibilities Ski instructor and snowshoe guide Wax and ski technician Ski and snowshoe rental tech Ability to work outside in winter conditions Has experience of/or ability to learn to sell products in Nordic Retail Shop Has experience of/or ability to learn to distribute Nordic ski and snowshoe rental equipment JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer questions about the resort, terrain, snow, and grooming conditions Answer incoming phone calls Shoveling and snow removal Maintain a clean and organized work environment (vacuum, shovel, toilet, etc.) Provide a friendly professional demeanor, acknowledge guests with a smile Conduct group and private cross country ski lessons that help guests of all ages and ability levels Perks of Working Here: Work & Play in the Mountains: Embrace the stunning Wasatch Mountains.
