Newscast Director

WBFF is looking for an Overdrive Director for our newscasts.

Responsibilities:



  • Show build (using Ross Overdrive) and direct any assigned newscasts and productions
  • Help oversee show production on a daily basis
  • Maintain production studio and control room
  • Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned


Requirements:



  • 2-5 years experience directing newscasts
  • Experience with Ross Overdrive is a huge plus
  • Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
  • Strong typing and spelling skills
  • The ability to read and write
  • A college degree is preferred
  • Must be able to lift and position 25 pound lighting instruments



The hourly compensation range for this role is $20.02 to $23.56. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
