- The job requires up to 15% travel to other sites (Manufacturing Plants) across US. There may be requirements for overnight stay and air travel. All travel expenses will be fully reimbursed as per policy.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in iFIX for HMI/SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in setup and configure of iFIX on Plant Automation system from scratch on new Windows Workstations and Windows Server Systems during the Windows Hardware Lifecycle process. The candidate should have the ability to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance within a regulated environment.
MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 3 to 5 years of SCADA/Controls experience preferably in a manufacturing Plants Industry. Hands-on experience with GE Digital's iFIX SCADA and related solutions such as PI and Process Data Historian.
- Experience with PLC or other automation control platforms, including HMIs/panels. Ability to install and configure automation control software such as Rockwell, PI and iFIX SCADA.
- Prior hands on experience in installing/Configuring and supporting iFix SCADA 6.5 and 2022 on Windows Server and Workstations. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot iFix issues on the production environment.
- Experience configuring IT infrastructure to run in industrial environments, including use of Windows Server and virtualization solutions such as Hyper-V or VMWare. 5+ Years of solid hands on experience on Microsoft Windows Systems Administration with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
- Experience with Infra Support activities like installation and uninstallation of Software on Windows 10 and Server Platform. Handle diagnosis of complex issues, experience in administering and troubleshooting the provisioned Infrastructure on Plant Segmented networks.
- Nice to have basic knowledge of DHCP, networking, Group Policy and Active Directory.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The Salary for this position will be 89,000 to 123,500 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
