Title: Power Maintenance Group Leader
Location: Freeport, TX

Salary: $112,500 - $145,500
Schedule: 9/80; 4-10

Focus:The Power Maintenance Group Leader is responsible for serving as a leadership source for hourly and contingent staff resources. The primary responsibilities will be reliability of the Power assets and people leadership. The Group Leader will also be a primary contributor to the performance management and pay planning processes, and will lead departmental efforts related to workforce accountability, productivity, work quality, and resource allocation.


Power Maintenance Group Leader Essential Functions:

  • Drive improvements in Maintenance Work Process, Productivity, and Operating Discipline to improve Maintenance efficiency and reduce Maintenance down time.
  • Lead Reliability improvements for the Power Assets.
  • Significant involvement in EH&S engagement, particularly with do-work teams in the field relative to the areas of personal safety and compliance.
  • Utilize Root Cause Analysis methodology and Reality Charting to perform effective problem analysis and root cause elimination. Evaluate solutions for leveraging.
  • Provide technical expertise for business-critical equipment rebuilds and procedure development; support production unit turnarounds and capital projects.
  • Management of Olin Mechanical and Turbine Technicians supporting the Power Assets.


Power Maintenance Group Leader Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree* in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in plant maintenance and/or plant reliability roles
  • Maintenance /reliability experience with rotating equipment technologies; including but not limited to: pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, agitators
  • Experience within Power technology preferred
  • Prior Olin experience in a related role preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
