Software Developer needed for an opportunity with SOC's client to work Remote/EST Preferred.

Responsibilities
- Functions as the technical lead for all design activities for medium-scale projects. Implements strategic technical direction. May manage the efforts of other Software Systems Engineers.
- Oversees the preparation, presentation and follow-up of major projects.
- Establishes operational objectives and assignments and may delegate assignments to subordinate staff. Objectives are reviewed by senior management to determine success of operation.
- Establishes and recommends changes to policies or processes that affects the organization.
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.
- Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Regularly interacts with management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
- May manage large teams of multi-functional personnel to ensure congruence of the various hardware, software, communications and interface approaches.
- Coordinates the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results. May be responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff.
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 12+ years related experience, of which at least seven must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: technical leadership of Software Systems Engineers and the use of analysis, design methodologies and/or design tools in the development and implementation or large projects. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in integrating GlusterFS into enterprise system environment.
- Expert level experience with container development using Docker.
- Excellent hands-on experience of: Angular 11+, PrimeNG, Java, Mongo DB, JEE, Spring, Postgres SQL.
- Excellent hands-on experience of: Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, Elastic Load Balancer, EBS, S3, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of rest services environments such as RESTful APIs and JSON
In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate range for this role is $56.00 to $80.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
