Civil/Roadway Engineer

STV has an immediate career opportunity for a Civil/Roadway Engineer (EIT) to join our Roadway Design Team. This position would be based in our San Antonio, TX office.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT certification)
  • PE License is preferred

Primary duties:

  • Roadway projects include work for DOT, City, and County clients involving feasibility studies, alternative analysis, public involvement, roadway design, traffic design, and some drainage design familiarity.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience is roadway design is required.
  • Roadway design, utility coordination and production of roadway sheets.
  • Design efforts on larger varied and complex transportation projects in team coordination and provides design decisions under the direction of a Project Manager.
  • Manages small to mid-sized transportation projects.
  • Assists in data collection, technical analyses, and written documentation with supervision, as needed.
  • Is actively involved in client interaction and participation in presentations in a supporting role.
  • Familiarity with ArcView GIS software and highly proficient in Excel is a plus.
  • Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual.
  • Microsoft, Open Roads, GeoPak software is a plus.

Compensation Range:

$94,967.00 - $126,623.00
