Department OverviewThe Unified Communications team has a mission to become the leader in creating a highly scalable software platform and communication applications for first responders and frontline workers. Our customers rely on these solutions to run their critical business operations in the public safety, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors. Every single day, we are shaping the future of mobile workgroup solutions for public safety and industrial users worldwide leveraging Motorola's rich heritage in this space. Our solutions include broadband Push to Talk (PTT), multimedia messaging, location-based collaboration, video streaming with full interoperability with land mobile radio (LMR) systems. The products include client apps on Android, iOS, and Windows. Our backend software can be deployed On-Prem, in private data centers, or in a public cloud infrastructure. Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our Unified Communications division as a Product Marketing and Analytics Intern. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product marketing, development, and data teams to support a range of projects, including data analytics, product research, and feature analysis. You will analyze data to uncover insights that inform product decisions, evaluate market trends, and assist in developing strategies that drive our product's growth. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making and make a real impact on the success of our company

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product performance data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for product development and marketing strategies.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends to support product positioning.

  • Assist in the evaluation and testing of new product features, gathering feedback, and analyzing user behavior to guide future iterations.

  • Collaborate with the product development team to translate data insights into feature enhancements and product improvements.

  • Develop dashboards and reports that visualize key metrics for product performance and marketing campaigns.

  • Support the preparation of presentations and reports that summarize data findings and research insights for internal stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Data Science, IT Finance, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Familiarity with statistical and machine learning techniques.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Google Apps Scripts, PostgreSQL, or Python.

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

  • Familiar with market and product research tools like Qualtrics, or Google Trends, ZoomInfo, Owler and understanding of SWOT or TOWS analysis.

  • Exposure to product research methods, such as user surveys, A/B testing, conjoint analysis is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

  • Eager to learn, with a positive attitude and a strong desire to tackle new challenges.

Basic Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master'sin Computer Science, Data Science, or allied disciplines.

  • Must graduate on or after December 2025.

  • Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
