How you will make history here... Under the direction of the site leader, the Maintenance Manager oversees all plant maintenance activities at Campbell's Franklin facility, collaborating with key stakeholders to support the plant's strategic goals focused on Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Additionally, you will be responsible for recommending and implementing improvements to our engineering and maintenance practices to ensure maximum operational efficiency. - Develop and lead the implementation of the site's Asset Care and Reliability strategy for each department that maintains the plant's manufacturing and utilities systems and supports the sites plant's financial, operating, and strategic objectives.
- Provide technical assistance in the purchase and maintenance of all equipment.
- Develop and lead a competent and efficient Maintenance Department workforce while ensuring team has the experience, tools, supplies, and materials required for performing maintenance services to achieve required business outcomes.
- Source additional technical talent and continue to develop existing technical team members to ensure the sustained success of the facility.
- Leverages the Maintenance function to support Operational Excellence initiatives, collaborating with with Operations, Quality, and other functions as required to improve plant KPIs
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues and optimize production processes.
- Develop, recommend, and review long term strategies for expense and capital initiatives relating to the Maintenance Department and the successful operation of the plant - a key to the development of the strategic capital and savings plan for the facility.
- Enforces company procedures and policies regarding safety and employee conduct; maintaining a work environment that promotes teamwork.
- Builds and manages maintenance labor, supplies, parts, and contractor services budgets to ensure site financial operating plan commitments are achieved.
- Develops and utilizes performance measurement processes, including scorecards and other metrics, to track and report on maintenance performance.
- Plans and oversees major equipment overhauls, upgrades, and installations to support plant expansion and modernization efforts.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities, such as equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and response times
- Enhance present preventive equipment PM programs to a system of predictive maintenance. Form a predictive maintenance team to gather and analyze data which could be formatted to a predictive program using the latest equipment technologies (oil analysis, vibration, etc.). Utilize root cause failure analysis for problem solving.
- Quickly address technical related issues regarding equipment/building/grounds,identify root cause of issue, and direct the most efficient use of materials/manpower to correct.
- Identify and apply necessary maintenance/reliabilitytools and concepts to develop and support a Preventive/PredictiveMaintenance format, using the latest equipment, technologies, programs, and resources.
- Work with a multi-discipline team to identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability. The solutions may involve modifying existing equipment to achieve immediate needs, while providing technical expertise for long-term solutions.
- Build and leverage collaborative positive cross-functional relationships to address identified issues and opportunities to implement best practices and solutions to meet current and future business requirements.
- Support commercialization and system changes to enable the production of new items.
What you bring to the table...
- 7 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Associate's degree
It would be great to have...
- Experience in the food processing industry.
- Transformation experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Six Sigma or CMRP certification
- Proficiency and knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP and experience with storeroom/parts room operations and MRO.
- Working knowledge of Safety Standards, GMPs and sanitary design for equipment specifications, installations and/or modifications.
- Familiarity with RCM, FMEA, RCA and other reliability concepts/methods.
- Experience working in a continuous operation environment and matrixed organization.
Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $99,800-$143,500
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
