LSSI is hiring afull-timePrevention Specialist.Under the general supervision of the program director, supervisor, or designee, provide prevention services to youth and their families in designated communities within agency policy. The paid training you need to learn, grow, and succeed! Essential Functions: Provide educational curriculum to 7^h and 8^thgrade students in partnering schools with linkage agreements. Conduct communication campaigns and link youth to needed services. Complete and submit all necessary reports and documentation accurately and on time. Facilitate and/or attend quarterly meetings of coalition. Conduct group presentations with youth ages 11-18. Position Qualifications: Education and/or professional training in the human services field. One year of experience preferred. Attend all mandatory trainings through DHS. Must be able to transport clients. Demonstrate ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, comprehensible manner. Valid State of Illinois driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance.
