Excluded from the scope of services is Dining Services equipment. Responsibilities Direct, supervise, and administer work to direct reports or assigned student assistants Manage the repair and preventive maintenance for 12,000+ appliances Maintain, repair and clean all tools, equipment, assigned service vehicles and work spaces Maintain inventory of replacement appliances as required Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience Three (3) or more years of appliance work experience Required Documents to Attach Resume Two (2) Professional References Optional Documents to Attach Cover Letter Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities ABILITIES Consistently exhibit engaging customer service Ability to support various constituencies served by the University Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position Ability to work collaboratively and independently Ability to read and comprehend maintenance procedures and standards KNOWLEDGE Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success Thorough knowledge of appliance maintenance and repair practices Thorough understanding of electronics, plumbing, wiring, and assembly techniques Knowledgeable about electrical processes SKILLS Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills Effective analytical, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills Apply Before Date Open Until Filled Application review may begin on November 14, 2024.
