Job Summary Primary responsibility for quality and experience data with associated internal and external reporting, inclusive of disease/condition specific quality metrics, across the care continuum of Prisma Health. Ensures that the clinical quality and experience data infrastructure is robust, resilient, scalable, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. Serves in an advisory role providing guidance, consultation, and leadership in the development, deployment, and analysis of data to support continuous improvement and transformative quality and experience initiatives. Succeeds in a matrixed data environment and works in partnership with teams across the enterprise including Information Technology Services and value-based care analytics to create aligned data processes and services.
Essential Functions

Oversees and coordinates comprehensive data related to Clinical Quality and Experience programs, including internal and external quality reporting and data abstraction, to include core measures and measures related to clinical registries (i.e.: cancer, heart/vascular, stroke, etc.). Supports communication venues and committee forums with needed data to foster accountability and information sharing. Advises leadership on and ensures readiness and compliance with emerging requirements for reporting at the federal, state, and accrediting body levels, including certifications, payment models/contracts. Informs leadership as needed regarding clinical data trends. Provides leadership and oversight for ongoing performance monitoring and action planning on key standardized quality and safety metrics. Supports the development and management of data lifecycle infrastructure; ensures robust data governance and compliance with regulatory requirements. Establishes and maintains best practices and standards for data management and operations. Partners with ITS support teams to define data requirements, increase automation and monitoring, simplify data operations, and ensure successful implementation of clinical data tools. Stays up to date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics. Assists in the production of data insights and solutions, ensuring they are scalable and user-friendly. Provides insight and guidance into analytic findings (through clear, professional, succinct written and oral summaries, tables, charts, reports, or presentations.) Navigates across multiple analytical and business units to socialize and gain buy-in for analysis design, results and interpretation, including making recommendations on how to use the results to inform business decisions. Engages with external partners and stakeholders to leverage external data sources and collaboration Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align quality initiatives, data collection and quality metrics, including leading and lagging measures as related to healthcare improvement across the care continuum. Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) for Clinical Data Management and ensures adherence to data standards in support of highly reliable clinical practice and outcomes Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Master's degree in Clinical discipline or Healthcare related field of study. Experience - Ten (10) years of experience in quality operations and reporting, clinical data analysis and improvement, and payment/payor or related in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated success in leading data teams, and a strong reputation for collaboration.
