The living donor advocate protects and promotes the interest of the donor and ensures the living donor has received information to make an informed choice regarding living organ donation. EDUCATION: HS graduate/GED required. Associate's Degree in Nursing preferred. EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Good verbal and written communication and teamwork skills. Experience with patient advocacy (examples: social worker, patient relations, chaplain, risk management) Knowledgeable of patient rights. |
