Job Description

PCG is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Facilitator for its Strategic Development 988 Department operations based in Lenexa, KS. This individual will design, deliver, and manage L&D programs, as well as work closely with our employee development initiatives. This is a hands-on role and best fits someone with a solid background in full-cycle learning and development; your schedule will include a variety of meetings, deep work, and program delivery. You will have some of the highest visibility to individuals, teams, and leaders across the organization and will have the unique opportunity to enhance the learning culture at PCG.

Essential Functions:

    Design and facilitate workshops for virtual in-person delivery
  • Create a dynamic classroom environment which encourages learning while providing an experience that drives engagement by using best practices in instructor-led classroom design methods
  • Coach and mentor employees regarding personal and career development
  • Conduct and debrief assessments at departmental, team, and individual levels to identify growth opportunities, diagnose problem areas, and identify root causes (assessments include 360, Hogan, DiSC, etc.)
  • Provide insight to branch succession and leadership development conversations
  • Act as a culture champion who believes in, models, helps develop, and cultivates a vibrant employee experience
  • Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify talent development needs and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth
  • Stay current with professional trends; attend educational workshops, reviewing publications, and maintain personal networks
  • Support development tracking and reporting processes to measure progress and impact of programs to ensure desired outcomes are being met; implementing improvements as needed
  • Apply change management methodology to projects and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or Communications required
  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge applying training and development principles and adult learning theory; along with a working knowledge of instructional design - ADDIE
  • 5+ years of experience delivering training and presentations to a variety of audiences in a business and adult setting
  • Ability to travel as needed - driven by business need but typically, does not exceed 25% of the time
  • Consistent high performer
  • Leads with purpose, maturity, and self-awareness
  • Excellent communicator with strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to build credibility and effectively collaborate and consult with leaders, business partners, internal customers, and colleagues
  • Strong listening ability to comprehend and draw connections for learning
  • Plan, manage, prioritize, and schedule projects in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
  • High emotional intelligence, maintain the ability to give and receive specific, constructive feedback
  • Computer savvy and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, to include Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to bring innovation, energy and passion around learning and development
  • Demonstrate the ability to be resillient and flexible
  • Shows an ability to keep the learner experience at the front-and-center of everything you do
  • Shows the ability to think like an owner and possess the 3 C's (Character, Capacity & Commitment)
  • Ability to build credibility and operate with an elevated level of consulting, influencing, and decision-making skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Local to the Kansas City Metro Area
  • Practical experience with change management methodology, such as ADKAR
