Job Overview:

This position prepares qualified Medical Assistants to become medical center educators and orient and on-board new employees. Some of this position's responsibilities includes: conducting training needs assessment based on orienteer's previous experience and education; developing and implementing orientation plan based on needs assessment; reviewing orientation plan and goals with orientee; providing guidance and supervision during orientation; acting as a resource; facilitating the social integration of the orientee into the department; acting as a retention agent and ensures consistent support is provided throughout the orientation period; communicating orientation plan and goals with alternate preceptor when appropriate; providing timely and meaningful feedback to orientee; participating in the ongoing evaluation process of the orientee by documenting orientee's progress toward competency expectations and goal achievement on orientation documentation and evaluation forms; identifying any potential issues with successful on-boarding; working with Practice Manager to resolve issues timely.

Job Requirements:

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), through AMT, NCCT, or NHA, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Current, active RN or LPN licensure also acceptable

Performance of common lab tests according to establish CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy
