The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the successful execution of moderately complex projects within the company's Project Management Office (PMO). This position involves collaboration with multiple business units and partners to drive project goals, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives. As a vital contributor to the technology organization, the Project Manager will help guide teams from planning through execution, coordinating cross-functional tasks, tracking project milestones, and managing project risks. The Project Manager will work with stakeholders at various levels, fostering effective communication and building trust to achieve project outcomes. Responsibilities Sponsor/Stakeholder Management
- Works closely with business sponsors and stakeholders across teams to understand and meet project objectives
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders to support project goals
- Facilitates regular communication with stakeholders, providing clear updates on project status and setting expectations
- Participates in project-related meetings and ensures action items are addressed in a timely manner
- Manages small to medium-sized projects independently or assists on larger initiatives as part of a team
Business Technology Management
- Supports efforts to optimize project delivery with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Assists in tracking project metrics, timelines, and budgets to ensure project health
- Provides input on the development of reports or tools to enhance transparency and streamline processes
- Works with senior team members to ensure that project controls are defined and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
Project Management
- Coordinates with stakeholders to:
- Help develop project scope and requirements
- Identify project risks, issues, and resources needed
- Support change management efforts to ensure smooth project transitions
- Prepares and follows realistic project plans, coordinating with resource teams to ensure availability and alignment
- Monitors project progress, manages project costs, and takes corrective actions as necessary to maintain project alignment with goals
- Leads small teams or contributes to matrixed team efforts, assigning tasks and setting deadlines
- Ensures effective identification and communication of project risks, dependencies, and changes, escalating issues as needed
- Supports project reporting, keeping stakeholders informed through regular status updates
- Encourages a focus on continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and suggesting process enhancements
Position Requirements Formal Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business, information systems, or equivalent experience
- Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus but not required
Knowledge & Experience
- 3+ years of experience managing projects or supporting project teams
- Familiarity with project management tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent
- Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, ADO) preferred
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) and familiarity with risk, scope, and stakeholder management practices
- Exposure to change management or process improvement concepts is a plus

Work Environment
- Hybrid work environment available once training is completed (3 days working in the Gainesville, GA office and 2 days remote)
- 40-hour combined on-site, remote and/or travel work week

- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components
