Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and a commitment to ensuring safe and efficient operations. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local & NEC electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure their proper functionality and safety.
  • Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot faults, and make necessary repairs to restore service.
  • Upgrades: Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve efficiency, capacity, or safety.
  • Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Emergency Response: Provide prompt and effective response to electrical emergencies, including outages and malfunctions.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school is preferred.
  • Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician's license by the state of Wisconsin regulations.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics. Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools effectively.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various conditions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and address electrical issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.


Working Conditions:

  • May involve working in various environments, including residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
  • Potential exposure to hazardous conditions; adherence to safety protocols is essential.
  • May require working outside regular hours or responding to emergency situations as needed.
