Responsibilities
The Manager of Imaging Services is responsible for planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating and managing the department of Imaging Services to ensure quality services are provided according to established policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include staff productivity, and the development, interpretation and implementation of budgets and long range plans for efficient operations and technology. This position will be accountable for the accomplishment of results and the achievement of objectives, consistent with the hospital mission, values and operational and strategic plans and will work closely with the radiologists that provide services to the hospital. Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee performance improvement activities in the department, share ideas about performance improvement and ensure the performance improvement activities are consistent with hospital goals.
- Resolve human resource-related issues, and accountable for the hiring, counseling, training, disciplinary, termination and salary recommendations made for the department.
- Acts on his/her own, makes accurate, timely decisions as appropriate to the successful operation of the department(s) assigned. Demonstrates conscientiousness, assures that self and those under his/her supervision complete tasks and meet assigned deadlines.
- Coordinates department activities on a shift basis - managing responsibilities as assigned, ensures the completion of work assignments for the imaging technologists and supporting staff by assigning work for staff, scheduling working rotations and maintains holiday and vacation schedules.
- Keeps abreast of JCAHO, Kentucky Department of Health, and other related federal and state regulations as well as professional standards. Maintains department in compliance with all Joint Commission and applicable county, state and federal regulations

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- With Bachelor's Degree: Three years of diagnostic imaging
- With Associate's Degree: Five years of diagnostic imaging
- Without Required Degree: Seven years of diagnostic imaging.
- RO (State Radiography License) AND one of: CNMT, ARRT-CT, ARRT-N, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, ARRT-CV, ARRT-CI; OR, one of: RDMS, ARRT-MR, ARRT-S or ARMRIT.
