The Asset Protection Coordinator supports leadership by ensuring the safety of customers and team members, security of assets, regulatory compliance and emergency response.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Support Asset Protection distribution operations
  • Provide corporate campus security, safety and emergency response support.
  • Lead emergency response actions.
  • Will assume supervisory responsibilities during working shift.
  • Provide training and guidance to asset protection officers.
  • Support security efforts through access control, investigations and theft deterrence.
  • Monitor security systems at Protective Security Center Posts on the campus.
  • Support threat assessment investigations and general case management as designated.
  • Support reception staffing and responsibilities.
  • Provide security and safety support at Meijer hosted events as designated.
  • Monitor international and domestic travel and conduct travel security assessments as designated.
  • Lead Asset Protection support at remote location facilities.

What You'll Bring With You:

  • High School Diploma required. Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Provide excellent customer service with excellent follow through.
  • Ability to lead and teach classes related to safety, orientation, evacuation and powered equipment operation.
  • Strong investigative skills/techniques.
  • Working knowledge or CCTV, access control and alarm devices.
