Description: The college of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Dean of Human Resources. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Administration this position is a key member of the College's Administrative team. This position is the highest-level HR officer in the college and will be expected to provide leadership and counsel to the College and its departments on all HR matters. Will make recommendations regarding optimal staffing levels, organization, and the implementation thereof. This position will be knowledgeable on all University policies, procedures, and systems as it relates to HR/payroll. Expected to keep up to date on the legislative and legal landscape that could affect the College. Serves as liaison to Central Campus HR, Labor and Employee Relations, and Faculty Affairs on matters affecting the College.
