Job Summary

As a Quality Control Supervisor at IFF, you will oversee the quality assurance processes to ensure that all products meet the company's high standards and regulatory requirements. Your role involves managing a team of quality control technicians, conducting regular inspections, and implementing quality control procedures. You will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, training staff on quality standards, and collaborating with other departments to resolve any quality-related issues. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity and reputation of IFF's products in the market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Quality Control Team: Lead and manage a team of quality control technicians, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
  • Conduct Inspections: Perform regular inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Implement Quality Procedures: Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high product standards.
  • Identify Improvement Areas: Analyze quality control data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Work closely with other departments to resolve quality-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of quality control activities and findings for reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Support Audits: Assist in internal and external audits related to quality control.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biology or similar background preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in chemical, pharma and/or food lab
  • Experience as a Senior Lab Technician is a plus
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations
  • Able to work occasional/limited weekends
