***Because an active DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required*** *Description:* The Sr. Network Engineer would assist and support with the development, configuration, testing, and evaluation of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) solutions used to secure government customers' classified data and networks. The Engineer will work individually and as a member of a team to configure network, software, and hardware networking components and security appliances and applications to meet DoD requirements and support their installation and initialization onsite in the customers' environments. Responsibilities: *Writes standardized system documentation, including configuration guides, test procedures, test results, and training materials *Collaborates with other operations departments to design approved infrastructure *Serves as the escalation contact during large outages for Tier 2 and 3 systems *Authors network Engineering Design Packages including detailed implementation project plans and procedures *Configures network, software, and hardware components to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirements *Performs network design and systems integration *Designs, develops, implements, tests, and maintains complex secure communications networks. *Configures Certificate Authority Systems (ISC CertAgent/MS Windows Server/Red Hat Certificate systems) *Configures firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, vpn gateways, wireless controllers from various vendors (e.g., Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, SonicWALL, Juniper) *Documents configuration, test procedure, results, and training materials *Prepares test reports and configuration documentation according to customer standards *Provides customer on-site solution installation and integration *Manages contractors and vendors during the implementation phase *Provides tier 2 and 3 support as part of a technical team *Identifies and recommend hardware and support solutions based on research and analysis of new technologies, interfacing with customers and vendors *Provides technical expertise to sales engineering teams during complex network developments. *Serves as Systems Integrator for the various contracts within the DoD *Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the company *Performs other tasks as required by OSC Edge and the Government contracting team *Top Skills' Details:* 1. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance 2. Experience installing, configuring, maintaining cisco routers and switches 3. Experience installing and configuring Palo Alto firewalls *Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience:* * Bachelor's degree in engineering degree or Information Systems degree. Experience can be substituted in lieu of degree * Five (5) or more years of experience with commercial Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and encryption algorithms * Prior Experience with Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) programs, solutions, and architectures *Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:* *Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance *Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience working with network security platforms in a service provider environment *Security+ Certification *CCNA Certification *Expert in configuring network components, including routers and switches *Expert in configuring security devices and appliances, security information, and event management software *Possess the flexibility to work in both a team environment as well as independently *Ability to communicate with technical and business staff alike *Knowledge of commonly used ports and protocols *Proficient in developing technical documentation *Ability to review and develop configuration guides and other customer training deliverables. **Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
