*MUST HAVE: OIL & GAS INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE * *Description:* Our client is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect to join their Commercial IT team supporting Sales and Marketing. This role involves bringing architectural knowledge in-house to support the growing interest and usage of Salesforce across the company. The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance on Salesforce capabilities and integration with other systems, ensuring optimal use of technology to meet business needs *They don't want someone who only sees and wants to solution with Salesforce. Provide best practices within Salesforce and when it would make the most sense to use but also being able to provide additional options/tools outside of Salesforce if it makes more sense to achieve their goals. * Key Responsibilities: 1. Architectural Design and Implementation: - Design and implement scalable and robust Salesforce solutions that meet the business needs of the Sales and Marketing teams. - Ensure that architectural designs are aligned with industry best practices and company standards. 2. Integration Management: - Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. - Develop and maintain integration strategies that support business processes and data integrity. 3. Strategic Guidance: - Provide strategic recommendations on the use of Salesforce versus other solutions, ensuring the optimal use of technology. - Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce features and capabilities that can enhance business operations. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Work closely with business stakeholders, including Sales and Marketing teams, to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Salesforce solutions are effectively integrated into the broader IT landscape. 5. Technical Leadership: - Serve as a technical leader and mentor for other team members, providing guidance and support on Salesforce-related projects. - Stay updated on the latest Salesforce developments and industry trends to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of technology. 6. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: - Identify and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce implementations and integrations. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues. 7. Documentation and Compliance: - Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, integration processes, and system configurations. - Ensure that all Salesforce implementations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and security standards.
