The candidate should be able to assess and stabilize the VMware environment, create a project plan for re-baselining and upgrading, and manage the server and storage processes. They should have low to mid-tier Linux experience and be able to work effectively with stakeholders and corresponding teams. The position requires strong decision-making and communication skills, with potential for management responsibilities. This person will be in charge of coming in and doing an assessment on their current environment and making recommendations of their servers and current VMware, how data is moving from one place to another, and how improvements can be made.
