Rite-Hite is the global leader in the manufacture, sale, service and installation of loading dock equipment, vehicle restraints, high speed doors, high volume, low speed fans and much more - all design to improve industrial safety, security, productivity, design, environmental control, and energy consumption. As a fast-growing B2B industrial manufacturing company, we are looking for a new President for our Interior Solutions Group. The President of Rite-Hite Interior Solutions (ISG) will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction vision and operational excellence of our ISG solutions on a global scale. Your purpose is to provide visionary leadership, execute strategies, and ensure sustained growth while fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centricity across international markets. This role leads and influences across all functions to deliver the business strategy and long-term success. You will play a pivotal role in identifying market opportunities, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring the successful launch of new products to meet the evolving needs of our customers worldwide. This position serves as member of executive team reporting to the CEO of Rite-Hite Holding Corporation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive, long-term strategic plan for the Interior Solutions Group, aligned with the enterprise overall mission and vision.
  • Provide visionary leadership to drive organizational growth and market expansion.
  • Ensure that the ISG team is at the forefront of leveraging digital technologies and software to support the business strategy.

Global Product Development Pipeline

  • Drive global expansion efforts by identifying new market opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and executing market entry strategies to optimize growth and profitable market share.
  • Establish a customer feedback loop within the product development process to gather insights, validate solutions, and continuously improve offerings.
  • Create a portfolio of projects with a pipeline that includes various risk / return profiles, a mix of new to world and incremental improvement projects & a spectrum of product categories that create innovative, differentiated solutions for our customers.
  • Implement and maintain a consistent product development process within the Interior Solutions space, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines. This should include comprehensive business plans for new products and/or market entrance that demonstrates a cohesive plan across Digital, Distribution and Marketing.
  • Work in conjunction with manufacturing and operations leaders to ensure designs for manufacturability, minimum cost, and efficient production processes within Interior Solutions.
  • Maintain a focus on minimizing costs while upholding quality standards and product differentiation.

Global Market Expansion and Business Development

  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and new business development within Interior Solutions.
  • Work with Corporate Development to lead strategic partnerships, alliances, and mergers and acquisitions as part of the growth strategy.

Financial Management & Risk Mitigation

  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics in IS.
  • Implement effective risk management practices within the IS to mitigate potential challenges and ensure business continuity.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster collaboration across departments, including manufacturing, digital, distribution, and marketing, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with other executives to drive cross-functional initiatives.

Talent Development and Team Building

  • Work with Human Resources to attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent within IS to build a high-performing and cohesive leadership team.
  • Develop succession plans to support all critical roles within Rite-Hite.
  • Create a positive and inclusive work culture that encourages innovation and professional development.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure short and long-term strategic health of Rite-Hite Interior Solutions. Provide effective leadership resulting in development and execution of strategies that meet and exceed established business objectives.
  • Maximize contribution of Rite-Hite through effective leadership of management team while fostering Rite-Hite's core values and company culture.
  • Identify, develop, coach and reward the talent within the business. Build a talent pipeline within the business for key leadership roles.
  • Simplify business operating processes and execution through continuous improvement mindset. Deliver operational KPI's and budgeted financial results.
  • Encourage ongoing enhancements to minimize operational costs while maintaining established standards for product quality and delivery.
  • Promote and maintain a cooperative team environment throughout organization which promotes great vs. merely good performance.
  • Drives cross functional alignment with business partners to meet business unit, group and enterprise goals.
  • Effectively consult and collaborate with all RH operations as needed to support achievement of RH Holding's goals and objectives. Facilitate employee collaboration and accountability to create a successful team.
  • Drive change with the ability to influence in all directions.
  • Effectively communicates across business, and with external stakeholders.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY

Leads the Management Team of IS. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years management level experience (or equivalent) with a global manufacturing corporation. Experience leading a M&A integration. MBA a plus.
