Job Description

Role Overview:

Join a dedicated team of over 900 Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs) at MSK, all committed to providing top-notch cancer care! We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to serve as a Urology Surgery APP, delivering comprehensive care to urology surgery patients. In this dynamic role, you'll support patients with kidney, bladder, prostate, and testis cancers, while working at premier facilities like the Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers and the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care. Collaborate with a team of expert physicians and healthcare professionals, meet patients' medical and psychosocial needs, and contribute to patient education and research initiatives. Key Qualifications:

    Current New York State (NYS) and New Jersey State RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 2-3+ years of related clinical experience in an oncology environment, surgical experience is preferred but not required

OR

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license and New Jersey State license or be qualified for state licensure
  • 2-3+ years of related experience in an oncology environment, surgical experience is preferred but not required

Additional Information:

Hours: 10-hour shifts, 8 am - 6 pm, 4 days/week (flex) Monday-Friday, no weekends, no holidays

Location: Kimmel Center and Koch Center

Pay Range:144k-182K

Reporting to: Manager, APP
