The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Hands-On Project Engineer I to join our dynamic team as part of the B2B Solutions Technical Sales Team! This is a home office-based role. We are looking for a new, West Coast-based team member supporting LG's growing DirectView LED business by joining our expanding Solution Implementation team. As a Project Engineer, you will support LG's System Integration Partners in all phases of the installation process. Your attention to detail will ensure that project implementation adheres to rigid LG and industry best practices to mitigate product damage, ensure on-time project completion and SI sign-off. 75% overnight travel within the U.S. with periodic weekend travel is required. Occasional overseas travel.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Monitor project timelines and work with project coordinator to maximize efficiencies.
  • Conduct installation and product operation training for integrator, technical, installation, and internal LG teams.
  • Advocate customer needs and new ideas to the HQ Product Management team.
  • Primary on-site LG technical point of contact for sales teams, vendors, etc.
  • Provide technical feedback on enhancements and changes to existing and emerging products.
  • Work with Technical Engineering teams for appropriate resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Evaluate site preparedness for DVLED and signage installations.
  • Take inventory and verify Packing lists and bill of materials.
  • Hands-on Installation and wiring of DVLED, mounts and supporting peripherals.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide daily reports to project manager.
  • Support Setup and teardown at marketing activities, trade shows, demos, and events.
  • Support and maintain LG Brand Innovation Center showrooms.
  • Remote technical support.


Qualifications:

Required:



  • BS Degree
  • 2-4 years of Direct View LED Hands-On installation Experience.
  • Virtual Production workflow experience - Preferred
  • Understanding of Site-Safety, safe handling of power tools, and ability to climb ladders.
  • Working knowledge of DVLED technology mountings systems and proper handling of DVLED modules.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet and the design software platforms e.g. (SketchUP, and Vizio).
  • Understanding of A/V, electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of IT/Networking/AV.
  • Exemplary Interpersonal, time management and decision making.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to document and escalate technical and project documentation.
  • Lift and move heavy items.
  • Ability to work in fast paced and stressful environments in team and individual settings.
  • Ability to effectively resolve conflicts, diffuse and escalate difficult situations.
  • Ability to travel 75% throughout the US with scheduling flexibility.
  • Valid US driver's license.

Recruiting Range
$80,000 - $92,000 USD
