This position will work closely with the President and other executive leaders to provide insights and recommendations on financial matters and is very involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. This role can be located in New York City or Secaucus, New Jersey. What You Will Be Doing: Financial Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's goals with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Lead and facilitate Designtex's annual planning process to achieve both near and mid-term financial targets. Financial Operations: Overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting and forecasting. Financial operations include: A/P, A/R, Payroll and sales tax. Risk Management and Compliance: Identifying and managing financial risks, ensuring the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. Responsible for the financial internal controls of the company and working with internal and external auditors. Team Leadership: Building and leading a finance and accounting team of 15 financial professionals. Stakeholder Communication: Communicating with the Designtex Executive team and Steelcase corporate leaders on accounting and financial matters and performance to targets. Investment and Funding: Making decisions on investments and funding for the company's growth. Operating expense management to ensure spending targets are achieved and spending focused on highest financial return initiatives and projects. Operations Leader - Digital Imaging Division: Responsibility for the strategic direction and operations of Designtex's Digital Imaging division located in Portland, Maine. Manages Portland based operating team to ensure the productivity and efficiency of operations. Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting and finance management Demonstrated CFO or Controller level experience for a similar sized organization ($100 - $200 million) Proven experience with leading high performing and self-directed teams Excellent Communication and relationship building skills Preferred Qualifications: MBA, CPA, CMA or other evidence of technical competence Prior experience leading an Operations Team Public Accounting experience Designtex offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
