Job Description

Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Naxitamab Treatment (Outpatient)

The Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) provides comprehensive cancer treatments to children of all ages. The unit also provides 24-hour urgent care services to patients and family members.

Are you ready to join our dynamic Neuroblastoma Nursing team?

Role Overview:

    Participate in management for a caseload of patients consisting primarily of Neuroblastoma and Sarcoma children and adolescents.
  • Perform nursing assessments, administer chemotherapy/biologic therapy (including but not limited to monoclonal antibodies, vaccines and cytokines), assist with radio-immunotherapy treatments.
  • Coordinate patient care activities (including phlebotomy and handling central venous access).
  • Serve as an integral member of the clinical research team providing direct nursing care to research study participants
  • Development of new insights for study and explore innovation arising from clinical findings to practice.

Key Qualifications:

  • BSN and NYS RN License/Registration Required
  • A minimum of three years of PICU and/or Oncology related experience required;
  • Critical Care and Clinical Trials experience highly preferred
  • BCLS, PALS Required; National Certification highly preferred

Core Skills:

  • A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions.
  • Capable of building strong customer (patient) relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a high energy and enthusiasm
  • An effective communicator, capable of resolving how to best reach different audiences and communicating based on that understanding

Please Note: This opportunity is not open to new graduate RNs.

Pay Range $121,300- $154,450.00

Additional Information:

  • Location: MSK Pediatric Day Hospital, 444 E 68th St.
  • Schedule: 10-hour shift, Flex 7AM-6:00PM (Monday - Friday)
