The Security Systems Technician will be responsible for conducting security risk assessments, designing, installing, and maintaining security systems for the electric utility industry, including substations, buildings, and other facilities. This role involves working with systems such as intrusion detection, camera systems, and access control management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including NERC's Cyber Security Standards. The technician will support the AES Indiana security organization in protecting employee and business information and maintaining vital documentation, logs, and change management systems, with assistance from the AES Clean Energy compliance team. About the Role: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in security risk assessment and security system design, installation, and maintenance within the electric utility industry. Familiarity with intrusion detection, camera systems, and access control management systems, along with strong documentation and change management skills, is essential. Knowledge of NERC's Cyber Security Standards and the ability to collaborate effectively with the AES Indiana security organization Field Work - 90% Office - 10% About You: The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following skills and/or experience:
