Salesforce is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Director of Reskilling to lead our efforts in creating and implementing a world-class reskilling strategy. This role will focus on designing and delivering the learning strategy for content and programs, specific to reskilling, that empower our workforce to develop new skills and adapt to the constantly evolving AI landscape. This role will require close partnership with both our Careers and Talent Management team to ensure complete alignment on the critical skills that this role will be focused on creating learning strategies for. The Senior Director of Reskilling will play a key role in ensuring that our employees have the tools they need to reskill themselves, while also enabling the company to perform targeted reskilling based on evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reskilling Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive reskilling strategy, focusing on the creation of innovative learning pathways (experiential and otherwise) that align with organizational needs and future workforce trends.

  • Program Design: Design and oversee the creation of scalable reskilling programs, ensuring they are accessible, effective, and engaging for a diverse range of learners.

  • Resource & Delivery Mechanisms: Develop and implement best-in-class delivery mechanisms, using digital platforms, self-paced learning, and instructor-led training to reach employees at all levels. Aligning with Careers team.

  • Collaboration with Talent Management: Partner closely with our Skills SME and other members of the Talent Management team to identify current and future skill gaps based on Talent Intelligence/Career Connect etc, and prioritize reskilling initiatives that drive business growth.

  • Measurement & Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators and metrics to measure the effectiveness of reskilling programs and continuously optimize based on feedback and evolving needs.

  • Change Leadership: Act as a change agent, advocating for a culture of continuous learning and development, and driving engagement in reskilling initiatives across the organization.

  • Industry Trends & Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in learning and development to keep Salesforce at the forefront of reskilling and talent development.

  • Company Wide Alignment: Responsible for creating and maintaining close partnerships with our Employee Impact team on the creation of Agent Knowledge Centers, as well as Customer Success, Global Enablement, T&P, Ecosystems Workforce Development and other teams who are also creating internal and external skilling paths.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Workforce planning and Reskilling or a related field, with a focus on reskilling, upskilling, and workforce transformation.

  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence and engage team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic approach with a track record of developing and completing large-scale learning and reskilling initiatives.

  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and partnering with senior leaders in HR, Talent Management, and business leaders.

  • Innovation: Proven ability to design innovative learning solutions that use the latest technologies and delivery models.

  • Communication: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with trends and emerging practices in workforce development, skills training, and digital learning.

This is a hybrid role and connects in the office 3 days per week.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $192,800 to $294,100. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $210,400 to $320,800. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
