This position will be required analyze profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management. Generate forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. Research economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning. Provide financial analysis and support in proposals for new contract awards. Support accounting with month-end close and tax reporting functions. Support DCAA audits and client fact-finding requests by providing financial data and analyses. Create financial models of "what if" scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing strategies, etc. In addition economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation, and investments may be required. As well as demonstrate solid understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Major Position Responsibilities
Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects.
