Join us!This position exists for the coordination, oversight, supervision and scheduling of Security staff who provide building and property security services to residents and employees. Manages and leads the team to ensure the safety and security of company buildings, property, residents and staff. Also performs Security Guard duties on shift.

Security guard for community. Responsible for grounds, buildings, residents, staff, as well as guests.

Hire, orient, and train (initial and ongoing) guards to organization standards for post orders and other duties as assigned.

Manage, assign and audit appropriate WorxHub tasks for guards to complete. Provide work direction and leadership for completion of work assignments.

Prepare, maintain, and communicate weekly schedule for guards. Make decisions and adjustments as needed on the schedules.

Manage performance of guards, including performance evaluations and corrective action.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Required Degree: HS Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Previous experience leading a team or being a lead Security Guard.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:

  • Communicates effectively both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
  • Must be able to anticipate the residents' needs.
  • Must have good judgement and decision making abilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires mobility for security duties as well as other activities around the campus as assigned.
  • Lifting of weight does not normally exceed 50 pounds.
  • Frequent stooping, walking, standing and bending.
  • Must be able to move about the campus and various structures / buildings.
  • Must be able to respond quickly and precisely to emergency situations.
  • Adequate sight and hearing to meet the needs of this position and to ensure safe operation of vehicles.
