Position Title: Seed Coating Technician
Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:45pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Seed Coating Technician position available at a company in Waverly, NE. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Seed Coating Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Application of particular inert materials to make seeds that are small and irregular in shape amenable to plating with conventional planting equipment. - Application of particular chemistries to seeds to provide protection against insect and disease pressure. - Application of particular beneficial microbes to seeds to foster optimal seed performance in the field. - Preparation of the various inert materials, chemistry and / or beneficial microbes for seed coating applications. - Participation in the management of seed coating materials inventory.
