Reporting to the Digital Print Supervisor, their primary responsibility is to produce high-quality prints by operating, monitoring, assembling, and adjusting digital print jobs according to job ticket specifications. This involves using digital printing equipment and machinery to ensure that the final output meets the required standards and specifications outlined for each job. Overall, the Digital Print Operator plays a vital role in the efficient and accurate production of digital prints, contributing to meeting client needs and organizational goals.

The essential duties of a Digital Print Operator encompass various tasks crucial for the efficient operation and maintenance of digital printing equipment:




  1. Job Instructions Retrieval: Review job tickets to extract instructions and specifications for digital print jobs.



  2. Material Preparation: Gather necessary paper and other components required to meet job specifications, ensuring availability for smooth operations.



  3. Machine Setup: Load paper and other substrates into the digital printing machine as per job requirements, preparing the equipment for printing.



  4. File Retrieval: Access files from the company server that are designated for printing, ensuring correct files are used for each job.



  5. Print Output Management: Remove printed materials from the machine upon completion of printing jobs, organizing them appropriately for further processing or distribution.



  6. Troubleshooting: Identify and address any issues or malfunctions with the printer or auxiliary equipment promptly, troubleshooting to minimize downtime.



  7. Quality Documentation: Complete any required documentation related to quality control, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
