Germantown, WI 1st shift, 8am start $21 - $25 p/hr Involves the primary responsibility of accurately receiving and inspecting incoming flat rolled materials (like metal sheets or coils), verifying quantities against purchase orders, storing them appropriately within the warehouse, and preparing outgoing flat rolled shipments for delivery, including proper packaging and documentation, while adhering to strict quality control standards specific to flat rolled products. Receiving Flat Rolled Materials: Unloading flat rolled materials from trucks, using appropriate lifting equipment like forklifts or overhead cranes. Visually inspecting incoming flat rolled stock for damages, defects, surface imperfections, and dimensional accuracy. Verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders and packing slips. Reporting any discrepancies or damage to the appropriate personnel. Properly storing flat rolled materials in designated storage areas, considering factors like coil size, material type, and quality. Shipping Flat Rolled Products: Picking and staging flat rolled materials based on customer orders. Inspecting flat rolled stock prior to shipment for quality and compliance with customer specifications. Properly packaging flat rolled materials for transport, including appropriate protective wrapping and securing methods. Creating and attaching accurate shipping labels and documentation. Coordinating with carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments.
