CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Infrastructure - Aviation Design Team at our office in Miami, FL.

Our Assistant Project Manager tracks project deliverables and reports back to Project Managers in a timely fashion while helping coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion. This role is key in helping maintain positive vendor and client relationships.

The professional in this role plans and implements projects including proposal preparation and development of scope, schedule, and budget by coordinating with CHA technical groups and market staff. The Assistant Project Manager addresses client's needs and issues that arise during the project. This individual consults with and gathers information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc., as well as facilitates communications between office and field staff.

The Assistant Project Manager is a self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and is adaptable and calm under pressure.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required; Civil Engineering preferred
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience is required
• Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the respective engineering field as well as proven ability to practically apply it in a professional environment
• Project management experience is preferred
• Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• Understands QA/QC procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
• Participation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred

$94,000 - $105,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
