Job Purpose

This position will manage marketing collateral for branch locations, including client and employee materials, Direct Mailers, as well as support for the Digital Asset Management Database. The role will also assist the Retail Marketing Manager with VIP events and branch grand openings as needed. Acting as the main point of contact for over 65 branches, the individual will ensure consistent branding and effective marketing execution. Based in Marietta, Ohio, the position requires annual site visits to each branch.

Job Duties

Specific responsibilities for this position will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Oversee marketing collateral for all 65 branch locations, including ownership of Branch Marketing Standards and the distribution of materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of merchandising displays, fixtures, and materials at all times.
  • Collaborate with branch locations to ensure materials are displayed properly and align with Branch Visual Standards.
  • Conduct annual merchandising audits for all branches.
  • Partner with the Retail Marketing Manager to develop four major in-branch campaigns each year.
  • Manage merchandising print orders, kitting, and distribution, ensuring quality and accuracy while coordinating with printing suppliers, mailroom, courier services, and lines of business.
  • Organize promotional merchandise by customer type.
  • Work with Purchasing to optimize inventory management for cost and time efficiency.
  • Partner with vendors to refresh promotional options as needs and pricing evolve.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of physical sales materials to ensure compliance, accuracy, branding, and effectiveness.
  • Ensure displays are maintained in optimal condition, including cleanliness, integrity, and effectiveness, and provide guidance to stakeholders.
  • Proactively create new sales materials and update existing materials as needed.
  • Assist in planning and executing customer and employee events, including creative theme development, project and vendor management, parking, communications, and distribution of invitations and RSVPs.
  • Hold vendors accountable for delivering a positive brand experience.
  • Coordinate with business leaders and executives to ensure appropriate participation and collaboration during event planning.
  • Manage post-event debriefs to identify areas for improvement in future events.
  • Perform additional special projects as assigned.

Education, Experience and Job Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (major or minor) in marketing, advertising, public relations or graphic design required
  • 2 years of retail or bank marketing experience.
  • Must be an energetic, enthusiastic team player
  • Creative mind
  • Strong marketing background and able to combine creativity with analytically based decision making
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize time sensitive issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external business partners in a collaborative environment are essential
  • Leadership experience with desire to continue to grow
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • The ability to work with a broad range of internal and external business partners in a collaborative environment is essential.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (major or minor) in marketing, advertising, event planning & public relations
  • 2 years of retail or bank marketing experience.
