Danfoss Drives is looking for a Power Electronics Intern to join our Hardware development team in Research Triangle Park, NC. As an intern at Danfoss Drives, you will become an active part of a passionate and driven team and be given the opportunity to develop yourself personally and professionally. Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.



  • Designing, building and testing proof of concept circuits
  • Design, test plan and test result documentation
  • Supporting other team members with design/proof of concept data
  • Helping our test and validation team to create and modify test setups

  • Currently pursuing a master's or PhD in an appropriate engineering science, with a focus on Power Electronics.
  • Basic knowledge of Power Semiconductors, Power Electronics topologies and Analog/Digital Control
  • Knowledge of Computer aided engineering design and simulation tools, such as PLECS, ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink and PCB design tools
  • Passion for engineering and a willingness to ask questions
  • Team player
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Willingness to learn
