Job Description: Central State Hospital is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician . This position is primarily M-F, 7:30am-4pm. Performs semi-skilled and skilled assignments in the areas of electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, locksmith, facility construction, ceiling tile installation, maintenance and repair projects. Perform grounds up keeping by operating tractors, vehicles and power tools. Make building and grounds inspections, compile findings on preventive maintenance report. Required Skills: Knowledge of applicable fields of maintenance. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, maintenance equipment and machinery, and maintenance vehicles. Experience: 1-2 years of trade or maintenance experience preferred.
