Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Logistics Engineer who has extensive logistics, supply chain, program management and personnel leadership experience. This position sits at the Customer site and reports directly to Customer management.

Duties

    Oversees management of multiple sites and leads the Facilities Management cadre in conjunction with Customer management
  • Positions work independently to support multiple sites, but regularly coordinates with other team members for large movement of materials
  • Manages a fleet of vehicles and drives various types of vehicles
  • Formulates plans for the timely supply of materials, goods, equipment and various other logistical needs
  • Balances/schedules appropriate time between the primary office and sites to perform duties
  • Drives to different locations within the WMA to support Customer needs
  • Manages the procurement and movement of all materials to support the program
  • Oversees logistical support sites -- coordinates, receives and tracks all deliveries
  • Travels domestically in support of logistical requirements
  • Serves as the accountable property officer
  • Available to be on call 24/7 for facilities related emergencies


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must have active TS/SCI w/ Poly
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must have CDL experience and must hold an active CDL-A license
  • Must be Forklift driver certified
  • Must be familiar with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and compliance
  • Must understand lifecycle management of facilities and critical facilities equipment, as well as facilities related O&M
  • Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must have demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading a team of individuals

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
