[1] Georgia-Pacific LLC is currently seeking a Director / Senior Director of Finance to support our Dixie operations. This position is based out of our Corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA and is performed onsite. This role will help drive strategy, point-of-view work, economic analysis, and provide financial leadership for Dixie Operations.
The [2] Dixie business is part of Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products business. Dixie delivers value across both retail and B2B channels with quality disposable tableware products that provide convenience in today's busy world. With an extensive line of disposable plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, Dixie has solutions to help consumers stay on top of everyday life. The operations finance team is focused on driving the long-term strategy within manufacturing and ensuring we have the right point-of-views and priorities in place to achieve the business vision. This role will work closely with the manufacturing leader for our Dixie business and supporting capabilities to drive the strategic direction of the manufacturing business. The individual will lead a team of financial analysts across the Dixie manufacturing network to ensure the team is using strong economic and critical thinking, leveraging point-of-views that are grounded in reality, and considering alternatives and ranges of outcomes when making investment decisions. What You will Do * Drive financial leadership to improve the long-term value and overall health of the manufacturing operations. * Serve as a business partner to operational leaders, providing challenge, analyses and recommendations to influence business strategy and operational priorities. * Conduct and frame economic analyses across all aspects of the manufacturing operations, such as capital projects, productivity improvements and waste reduction while working with cross-functional teams to reach aligned recommendations. * Identify, evaluate, and prioritize manufacturing opportunities to ensure alignment with the business and manufacturing vision to maximize value. * Effectively communicate manufacturing performance and address gaps across different levels of the organization. * Act as a change agent to support continuous transformation within the organization. * Lead and develop a group of financial analysts across the Dixie manufacturing network to ensure strong economic and critical thinking to drive better business outcomes. * Promote and reinforce the Principles-Based Management culture by applying the company's values. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Progressive leadership experience in finance, management consulting, operations or strategic roles, demonstrating strong economic and strategic thinking within a manufacturing or operations context. * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop perspectives, evaluate complex problems, and support decision-making. * Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and build trusted relationships within a matrix delivery model. * Focused on transformation and motivated by contribution, with a proactive approach to bridging gaps and solving problems. * Demonstrated business acumen, acting with integrity and providing necessary challenges. * Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites to strengthen business partnerships. What Will Put You Ahead * Advanced degree or MBA in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline. * Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector. * Leadership experience, including developing the capabilities of others.
