All About You

We are seeking a Part-time Research Scientist (up to 20 hours per week) to conduct interdisciplinary research at the intersection of computer science and medical applications.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead research and development projects in integrating computer graphics, computer vision, remote sensing, and reconstruction through AI

  • Contribute to external funding proposals and publications

  • Enhance collaborative research between the Lab and external partners

  • Mentor students and fellows

  • Coordinate the translation of lab prototypes to clinical or industrial solutions

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Computer vision and computer graphics research skills focused on predictive modeling for the generation of virtualized 3D geometry

  • Advanced knowledge of the development of novel AI/ML deep learning networks and architectures with hyper-parameter optimization and model accuracy optimization

  • Generative design through conditional Generative Adversarial Networks focused on 2D image and 3D Voxelized spaces

  • Established history of publications in interdisciplinary research

  • Contributions to research proposal solicitations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • PhD in Computer Science or related field

  • Two years of post PhD experience
